Judge Daniel L. Sutton Recently (12/27/12) arraigned the following in 82nd District Court:

  • 20 year old from St. Helen, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on four counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct. Bond wa set at $15,000.
  • 35 year old from Roscommon, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on charges of larceny in a building and resisting and obstructing police. Bond was set at $4,000.

The following pleaded guilty to charges filed against them and were sentenced:

  • 48 year old from Gladwin, impaired driving: $1,190.37 in fines, costs or restitution and conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.
  • 49 year old from Petoskey, domestic violence: $400. in fines, costs or restitution.
  • 26 year old from Perry, domestic violence: $765. in fines, costs or restitution and 12 months probation.
  • 50 year old from Roscommon, disorderly person by intoxication: $340. in fines, costs or restitution.
  • 25 year old from Roscommon, transporting open intoxicants in a vehicle and impaired driving: 50 days in jail on each count, $1,175. in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.
  • 29 year old from Shepard, possession of marijuana and impaired driving: $1,650, 12 months probation and 30 days license suspension.
  • 29 year old from Harrison, disorderly/obscene conduct: $440. in fines, costs or restitution.
  • 28 year old from Harrison, use of marijuana: $335 in fines, costs or restitution and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.
  • 21 year old from Houghton Lakes, allowing minors to consume alcohol: $540. in fines, costs or restitution.
  • 21 year old from Houghton Lake, driving with an invalid license, improper registration and without insurance: $860. in fines, costs or restitution and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.
  • 53 year old from Roscommon, attempted failure to comply with reporting: $645 in fines, costs or restitution.
  • 46 year old from Grayling, domestic violence and attempted interfering with electronic communications: 93 days in jail (credit for one day) on each count and six months probation. He was also sentenced to 15 days in jail (credit for two days) and $483.94 in fines cost or restitution on a charge of second degree retail fraud.
  • 46 year old from Roscommon, reckless driving: $625. in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.
