Judge Michael J. Baumgartner presided in 34th Circuit Court, Roscommon, June 3:

A 43 year old Prudenville man stood mute to a probation violation and subsequently pleaded guilty. The probation stemmed from an aggravated stalking charge. He was scheduled to be sentenced July 8.

A 21 year old Houghton Lake woman, had been charged with larceny in a building, but her charge was dismissed.

A 32 year old West Branch had been charged with contempt of court, but bond money was to be applied for the fines and paid in full. His original charge was breaking and entering with intent. On a separate probation violation (also stemming from a breaking and entering charge), he was discharged from probation with out improvement and the violation what dismissed.

A 29 year old Southgate man was sentenced to nine months in jail (credit for nine months) and was discharged from probation without improvement. He is to set up a payment plan for the court assessments owed. He was also sentence on a charge of possession of methamphetamine to 12 months in jail (credit for 40 days), $200 in fines and costs, a $100 attorney fee and $198 in other court assessments.

A 18 year old Houghton Lake man was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 12 months in jail (credit f0r 193 days), with the 10 months to be served immediately and two months held in abeyance, 60 months probation, $200 in fines and costs, $100 in attorney fees and $396 in other court assessments. He had pleaded guilty to fourth degree criminal sexual conduct and resisting and obstructing police. On a probation violation (stemming from ad larceny in a building charge). his Holmes Youthful Trainee Act status was revoked and he was sentenced to time served and discharged from the probation without improvement.

A 29 year old West Branch woman was sentenced on a charge of delivery of less than 50 grams of a controlled substance to six months in jail (credit for 77 days), 24 months probation, $100 in fines and costs and a $50 attorney fee. She was also sentenced (to be served concurrently) on a charge of absconding/forfeiting bond to 12 months in jail (credit for 61 days), 24 months probation, $100 in fines and cost and a $50 attorney fee. She was also ordered to pay a total of $396 in court assessments.

A 45 year old Roscommon man was discharged from probation without improvement (he has pending charges in Roseville). The probation stemmed from a charge of killing/torturing animals.

A 30 year old Lansing man failed to appear at a show cause hearing and a bench was warrant was authorized (and was issued on June ). His probation stemmed from a felonious assault charge.

A 21 year old Flint man was sentenced on a charge of illegal use of a financial transaction device to 10 months in jail (credit for four days) 18 months probation, $200 in fines and costs, a $100 attorney fee and $198 in court assessments.

A 45 year old Roscommon woman was sentenced on two counts of illegal use of a financial transaction device to a one-year delay of sentence, 12 months probation, $100 in cost, $768.94 in restitution and a total of $266 in other court assessments.

A 46 year old Gladwin man was sentenced on a charge of impaired driving, third offense, to a 18-month delay of sentence (sobriety Court Program In Clare/Gladwin county), 18 months probation, $600 in fines and costs, a $100 attorney fee, a $400 cost of prosecution fee and $198 in other court assessments.

A 25 year old Marion woman failed to appear for sentencing on two counts of illegal use of a financial transaction device and a bench warrant was authorized and held until a June 17 hearing.

A 28 year old Fredric woman Pleaded guilty to probation violation and was sentenced to 90 days in jail (credit for eight days) and the judge signed a order amending probation. the probation stemmed from a breaking and entering charge.

A 35 year old St. Helen man stood mute to probation violating and a hearing was set for June 17. The probation stemmed from domestic violence, third offense.

A 60 year old Houghton Lake Heights man was sentenced on a charge of possession of less than 25 grams of a controlled substance to 14 months to eight years in prison (credit for two days) $200 in fines and costs, a $100 attorney fee and $198 in other court assessments.

A 47 year old St. Helen woman was sentenced on a charge of illegal use of a financial transaction device to six months in jail (credit for two days). 18 months probation, $400 in fines and costs, $316.95 in restitution and 198 in other court assessments.
